Potato King Inc. was founded in 1958, as a Potato wholesaler and re-packer.  Our customer basis consisted of local families and farms around the La Crosse area.  We eventually found our niche when we began supplying grocery stores with spuds from northern Wisconsin.

 In the mid-70's we grew to maintain a full line of fresh produce.  Our small underground cooler facility soon became insufficient to meet the demand of our customers.  Little by little the family farm has grown into our current shipping & storing facility.  Our customers now enjoy a product list of over 1000-items & pack-sizes that are continuously re-stocked from growers worldwide.  If there is a product/pack that you need which isn't on our list, our buyers will find it. 

We purchased our first tractor-trailer in 1987, but we now take pride in our 100+ tractor fleet.  Our equipment is fully tailored to meet all of the industry demands and EPA SmartWay standards.  The Potato King, Inc. and Potato King Transportation are now built upon the dedication and hard work of our 150+ employees.  If you are interested in joining our team, please follow the employment tab above for an application.
